What does 32 weeks pregnant, a bunch of cardboard and a moving truck have to do with each other?

As if the third trimester wasn’t enough, we decided to move!! Our tiny apartment jammed wall to wall with stuff, a massive truck rental, lastly a hop, skip and a jump to Sparks; we combined our lives to start our family off right. Upgrades included; our own personal backyard for Ezra, washer & dryer (our very own – no more sharing and paying ridiculous fees!), double the space, and a safe gated community to raise our new family. With only a few short weeks left til our sweet baby girl arrives!

We’ve been learning how to communicate, laugh and see the light at the end of the cardboard (Meagan says as she rubs her eyes, tired behind a computer screen). Here are a few candid’s of our pack-mode-saga in our Reno Apartment.

Photos can be deceiving… This fire only lasted 5-minutes, if that. Ha!

Our New Home

Upon our first few nights, we attempted a fire in our new fireplace, as well. Using some secretly wet wood, we laughed in a our small failure and look forward to having a wood burning fire to warm our family, soon. We’re still getting settled – but already we can say, this move was SO needed. We have space to grow as a couple, and as a family of three! And of course our fur-babies; Ezra, Feebee, Dean and Pipkin. We are all doing much better here, Meagan and Cameron can’t wait to nurture and nest, a warming home for our wonderful circus of a family!

Slowly getting there, we’ve built the crib, sat in the sunshine on some recent warm weather spells, and reveled in our ultrasounds; anticipating our delightful baby girl.

The Photoshoot

As well as getting settled, we embarked on a Week 33 Maternity Photoshoot in Hope Valley; one of our favorite spots, and funnily enough one of the spots we took photos at not knowing we were pregnant at the time, so we felt it suiting to visit again. After treading through rivers, and ducking under pine trees – we were able to get some fine photos we’re sharing with you today, below.

Until Next Time

That’s it for this update. Thanks for tuning in. Our labor & delivery story will be coming next when we have time in our no-time world, so stay tuned for our journey told in photos and more. Our sweet baby girl entered the world on May 29th, 2021 11:54PM and we can’t wait to tell you more.

Until Next Time,

— Meagan & Cameron
